Fire in basement in Chicago, IL.

The fire in this basement was caused by a unattended candle. We removed all affected materials in the house. SERVPRO of Norridge/Harwood heights  inventoried all the  home owners contents. SERVPRO of Norridge/Harwood heights removed the homeowners belongings to our warehouse to be cleaned, Then SERVPRO of Norridge/Harwood heights cleaned the entire house. Washing all walls and ceilings on the upper floors where the damage was not as bad. Gutted the basement   SERVPRO of Norridge/Harwood heights  cleaned all contents at our warehouse. All contents were returned to home owner after renovations were completed.

 A monitored smoke alarm may have prevented the damage from being as devastating as it became. Time is of the essence when getting to a fire. The sooner the firemen are on the scene the faster they can put out the fire.
