A Leaky Pipe Causes Big Problems

We received a call from a local resident who had discovered a pipe leaking in their basement. You can see where the ceiling looks visibly wet, but also can see the bulging in their ceiling. We went out to assess the damage and, after using our moisture meter, discovered that the drywall in the ceiling was very wet and needed to be removed. After removing the drywall, we set up air movers to dry up the remaining moisture in the ceiling. After a few days, the air movers worked their magic and the homeowner was able to rebuild their ceiling easily and know that mold was highly unlikely to grow, which left them at ease.
