Storm damage

Eight inches of rain fell in less than two hours in a nearby suburb. Many homes were flooded and the local SERVPRO had more than it could handle. SERVPRO of Norridge/Harwood Hts. was called. We assisted by handling some of the over jobs. This home was new construction with the home owner scheduled to move in later that month. Over a foot of water was in their freshly carpeted finished basement. SERVPRO of Norridge/Harwood HTs. removed all the water and dried the basement in under 5 days. The carpet could not be saved but SERVPRO of Norridge/ Harwood Hts. prevented the water from causing any long term damage.
